From the Recipe book: 'Celebrating Italy' by Carol Field. 2.From the above book also is a great recipe for a spicy fish soup called Minestra di Tinca. Said to be of Etruscan origin, it is now only found to be made near Lake Bolsena. 3. 'The Mute Stones Speak', by Paul MacKendrick, 1960. Includes chapters on prehistoric italy, the Etruscans and Early Rome. 4. 'Tarquinia and Etruscan Origins', by Hugh Hencken, 1968. This book deals with the early days of Tarquinia, cemeteries, the Villanovans, speculation on where the Etruscans came from. 5. 'An Intellectual and Cultural History of the Western World' Vol. I ,by Harry Elmer Barnes, 1965. This book includes chapters on: primitive thought and culture; the alphabet and origins of writing; Roman culture and philosophy. 5.
